A post-study work visa for international students who recently finished a CRICOS-registered course in Australia. The Post-Higher Education Work stream (degrees) usually gives 2 to 3 years; the Post-Vocational Education Work stream (diploma or trade qualification linked to a listed occupation) up to 18 months; a second stream adds 1 to 2 years for regional graduates. Applicants must usually be 35 or under, apply in Australia, and have held a Student visa in the last 6 months. Cost from AUD5,750.00.

Health screening after a stay in countries with risk of yellow fever transmission (WHO list) in the last 6 days
Travellers over 1 year entering Australia within 6 days of staying overnight or longer in a yellow fever risk country are asked for a valid yellow fever certificate; entry is not refused without one. Without one: not refused entry: may be referred to a biosecurity officer and given information/an action card; must promptly seek medical assessment if symptoms develop within 6 days of leaving the risk place.
