Business visa
Eritrea's business visa is issued by Eritrean embassies for business trips. The Washington embassy offers single-entry and multiple-entry business visas from USD 100 to USD 300. A letter stating the purpose and duration of the trip and proof of funds are required.

View requirementsTourist visa
All non-Eritreans need a visa to enter Eritrea, obtained in advance through an Eritrean embassy. The Embassy in Washington takes online applications (form B62.3) and the original passport by mail. The tourist visa costs USD 50 plus fees and takes at least 15 business days. Visas are valid for three months from issue, and the stay is typically one month, extendable at Immigration in Asmara.
