Visitor visa and visa-exempt entry
Lesotho issues single-entry visas (valid three months) and multiple-entry visas (valid six months) under the Aliens Control Act 1966. Many nationalities can visit without a visa; the UK government says its citizens can stay up to 90 days. Lesotho's online visa applications are currently shown as suspended on the Ministry of Home Affairs website, so applicants should contact the Ministry or a Lesotho mission.

Lesotho's Ministry of Local Government, Chieftainship, Home Affairs and Police issues a study permit as a category of residence permit, with an admission letter, medical form and police clearance. The fee depends on the level of schooling.
