Short stay visa (e-visa via evisacam.cm), including transit

Cameroon visas are applied for and paid only online through the official portal (evisacam.cm). A short stay visa covers tourists, private visitors, business people and event participants, for up to 6 months. After online approval, the traveller gets a visa authorisation with QR code and receives the visa sticker at a Cameroon embassy or at a border entry point. A short stay visa does not allow work or study.

Who it’s for

Tourists, private visitors staying with family or friends, business people, promoters, event guests, people of private means, pensioners and medical evacuees.

Eligibility

  • Temporary visitor

    The short stay visa can be granted to a temporary visitor travelling for tourism or business, individually or on a package tour (Decree 2023/147, art. 23).

  • Passport

    Your passport or travel document must be valid for at least six (06) months.
