Faroe Islands short-stay visa and visa-free visit
The Faroe Islands are a self-governing part of the Kingdom of Denmark with their own immigration authority, Útlendingastovan. They are outside the Schengen Area, so a Danish or other Schengen visa does not allow entry. Visa nationals need a visa specifically valid for the Faroe Islands, applied for through Danish missions; one application can cover both a Faroe and a Schengen visa. Nordic citizens can enter, live and work freely.
