EU Blue Card - residence permit for highly qualified employees
E.1
Greece's EU Blue Card (residence permit type E.1) is for non-EU nationals hired in a highly qualified job. The employer first applies online to the Ministry of Migration and Asylum for approval of the employment; the worker then gets a national (D) visa, enters Greece and applies online for the E.1 permit before the visa expires. The contract must last at least 6 months and pay at least 1.6 times the average gross annual salary in Greece. The permit fee is €150 plus €16 for the card.
