Schengen short-stay visa (type C) for Lithuania, and visa-free visits

Lithuania is a Schengen state, so short visits follow the common Schengen rules. Nationals on the EU visa-exempt list can stay up to 90 days in any 180-day period without a visa. Others apply for a Schengen visa (type C) at the Lithuanian consulate, or its visa centre, if Lithuania is their main destination. The application can be made no earlier than 6 months and no later than 15 days before the trip.
