Naturalisation as a Mongolian citizen
Foreigners may apply for Mongolian citizenship after living permanently in Mongolia for at least 5 years. Applicants need legal income, good Mongolian language skills and knowledge of customs and the Constitution. Mongolia generally requires applicants to give up their existing citizenship, and the President decides applications.
