Macao visitor entry
visa exemption, visa on arrival, advance visa
Macao is a Special Administrative Region of China with its own immigration law (Law No. 16/2021), applied by the Public Security Police Force (PSP). A mainland Chinese visa does not cover Macao. Nationals of 88 countries are visa-exempt for periods from 14 days to 6 months; most others can get a visa on arrival for up to 30 days. Nationals of Bangladesh, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Vietnam must apply in advance through a Chinese embassy or consulate.
