Tourist entry to Nicaragua

visa-free with tourist card, or visa consultada Category C

Nicaragua sorts nationalities into visa-free (libre visado) and visa categories, including a 'visa consultada' (Category C) that must be approved in advance. All visitors need a passport valid for at least six months and must complete an electronic migration form before arrival. Travellers from outside the CA-4 agreement (Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua) pay USD 10 for a tourist card. Strict rules apply to bringing in drones and professional camera equipment.
