Working resident visa - long-term employment
with Labour Division work permit
Expatriates with long-term jobs in Solomon Islands need a work permit from the Commissioner of Labour and then a long-term employment visa from the Immigration Division. The visa costs USD 450 plus a USD 50 online fee, is valid for 2 years with multiple entries, and follows the terms of the work permit. Applicants must apply from outside Solomon Islands. A separate short-term employment visa exists.
