Police certificate for Brunei
Police Certificate of Good ConductEmbassy or consulateBy postOfficial page(opens in a new tab)
- Issued by
- Royal Brunei Police Force (requests are addressed to the Commissioner of the Royal Brunei Police Force); Brunei missions abroad forward non-visa applications to the Immigration Department in Brunei Darussalam
- How to apply
- Submit to the High Commission of Brunei Darussalam an explanatory letter addressed to the Commissioner of the Royal Brunei Police Force giving the reason for the request and some background on your previous stay in Brunei Darussalam, including your current mailing address, email and contact number, together with two copies of all pages of your current passport. Applicants in Australia also provide a self-addressed pre-paid certified Registered/Express envelope (A5 or A4) or arrange a courier pick-up; applicants in New Zealand arrange a courier pick-up or pay AUD 35.00 for an Express International Australia Post satchel.
- From abroad
- Apply through the High Commission of Brunei Darussalam (the Canberra mission covers Australia and New Zealand), which forwards the application to Brunei. Payments to the mission are accepted by cash, postal order or bank cheque payable to "High Commission of Brunei Darussalam".
- Notes
- The Canberra page says that, except for visa applications, the High Commission forwards all applications to the Immigration Department in Brunei Darussalam for further consideration, and that the regulations may change without notice. The only amount on the Canberra page is AUD 35.00 for the return satchel for New Zealand applicants; for the fee itself it says to contact the High Commission.

- No processing time is stated.
- The in-country procedure in Brunei (Royal Brunei Police Force site police.gov.bn resets the connection) was not confirmed.
