Police certificate for Seychelles

Seychelles Police
How to apply
Collect the police character certificate from a Seychelles Police Station. Immigration and Civil Status Seychelles says it can be collected from a Seychelles Police Station by a person who has been in the country for six months or more.
Notes
For use abroad, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs authenticates police character certificates as personal documents at SCR 150 per document. Documents are ready for collection two business days after submission, and walk-ins are accepted on Mondays and Wednesdays. Documents from government offices first need an apostille from the Supreme Court (SCR 250).

Not confirmed

We couldn’t confirm these on an official page. Check the official page.

  • The only official mention of the procedure is in ICS marriage guidance for foreign spouses. It does not list the documents, fingerprinting, fee or processing time for the certificate itself.
  • The Seychelles Police website (police.gov.sc) returns HTTP 404 on every page tried, so the police's own procedure could not be read.
  • No official page describes how people who live outside Seychelles apply.
