The visa route
Entry visa (business, work, humanitarian, family) - conflict conditionsSudan has been in armed conflict since April 2023, and the UK government advises against all travel to the country. Entry visas are issued through Sudanese embassies, usually on the basis of a sponsor in Sudan: the Embassy in Washington asks for a letter from the sponsoring organisation and charges USD 154; the Embassy in London requires an entry permit number from the Aliens Department first. Humanitarian workers also need a certificate from the Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC).Requirements and documentsAnother passport?
Rules depend on the passport you travel on. Visas or residence elsewhere can open easier entry.
