The visa route
Tourist e-Visa (or consular tourist visa) for TürkiyeTürkiye's Ministry of Foreign Affairs sets the visa rule country by country. Many nationalities (for example EU states, the USA, Australia, Argentina) can visit visa-free, usually for up to 90 days in any 180 days. Others can get an e-Visa online at www.evisa.gov.tr for tourism or business, sometimes only if they already hold a valid Schengen, US, UK or Irish visa or residence permit.
