Ciudadanía argentina por naturalización

Ley 346, art. 2, as amended by DNU 366/2025

Decree of Necessity and Urgency 366/2025 rewrote Argentina's naturalisation rules. Applications now go to the National Directorate of Migration (DNM) instead of federal courts. Foreign nationals over 18 must show 2 years of continuous, legal residence immediately before applying, without any trip abroad in that time. The same decree created a separate citizenship-by-investment route managed by a new agency under the Ministry of Economy, which is not covered by this record.
