American Samoa visitor permit

separate from US immigration

American Samoa is a US territory but runs its own entry control through the Immigration Office of the Department of Legal Affairs; US visas and ESTA do not by themselves give entry. Visitors must get a permit in advance. Holders of a US visa, green card or US visa-waiver citizenship can apply online for a 30-day permit; Samoa passport holders born in Samoa can get a 10-day permit; others need a local sponsor.
