The Bahamas grants permanent residence in several categories. These include spouses of Bahamians married for at least 5 years, economic applicants who invest at least BSD 1 million, and certain long-serving workers. The investment must be in real estate or Central Bank zero-coupon bonds, held for at least 10 years.
