Visiting The Bahamas
visa-free entry or Electronic Entry Visa
Most nationalities can visit The Bahamas without a visa. Citizens of designated countries need an Electronic Entry Visa (EEV), applied for through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs eVisa portal, including when arriving by cruise ship from the United States. Permanent residents of the US, UK, Canada or Schengen countries do not need a Bahamas visa. Some nationals also qualify if they hold a valid visa from one of those countries; for example, Indian nationals with a US, UK, Canadian or Schengen visa are exempt.
