Short-stay visa (visa court séjour) through a Central African embassy

Visitors to the Central African Republic need a visa obtained in advance from a CAR embassy. The CAR Embassy in Paris takes applications online (after creating an account) or on a paper form sent by post with the passport and two photos. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required at the border. The security situation is serious: the UK government advises against all travel outside Bangui and all but essential travel to Bangui.
