Cyprus short-stay visa (type C) and visa-free visits
Cyprus issues its own short-stay visas (type C) for visits of up to 90 days in any 180-day period, for tourism, business or family visits. Cyprus applies the EU visa lists and has fully harmonised its visa procedures, documents, fees and sticker with the Schengen states. However, it is not yet a full Schengen member, so a Cypriot visa is only valid for Cyprus for now. Nationals on the EU visa-exempt list can visit without a visa, as can holders of certain Schengen visas or residence permits.
