Djibouti's immigration directorate runs an official eVisa platform. Applicants register, fill in the application, pay by card and download the PDF eVisa after approval. Applicants need a passport valid at least 6 months, a travel booking, an accommodation address, an invitation letter and a credit card. The UK government says a tourist visa can also be bought on arrival in US dollars cash.

Travellers aged 1 year and over arriving from a yellow fever risk country (or after more than 12 hours' airport transit in one) need a valid yellow fever certificate.
