Fijian citizenship by registration or naturalisation
Under the Fijian Citizenship Act 2009, adults can become citizens by naturalisation, and spouses and children of Fiji citizens can register. Applicants must first get a Search of Immigration Status to count their lawful days in Fiji. Time as a visitor or on a student permit does not count. Fiji allows dual citizenship.
