Indefinite Residence for a foreign spouse of a Ghanaian
Ghana's indefinite residence status lets the holder stay in Ghana indefinitely, enter without a visa, and work as an employee or self-employed person without a work permit. The Ghana Immigration Service publishes a separate document list for foreign spouses of Ghanaians, including a support letter from the Ghanaian spouse and attestations from two Ghanaians. The GIS fee for indefinite residence as a spouse of a Ghanaian is GH¢5,000.
