Residence and work permit for Greenland
including Fast-Track and the Health Agreement
Foreign nationals who have a job offer in Greenland must get a residence and work permit before they start work. The Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI) decides the case after the Government of Greenland approves it. Greenland is not in the EU, so EU, EEA and Swiss citizens need this permit too. Only Nordic citizens are exempt. A Danish residence permit does not cover Greenland, and a Greenland permit does not cover Denmark.
