Temporary stay for the purpose of university studies

Non-EU nationals enrolled at a Croatian higher education institution apply for temporary stay for university studies at a Croatian embassy or consulate, or at a police administration if already legally in Croatia. Applicants show enrolment, means of subsistence, health insurance and a clean criminal record. Visa-required nationals then get a D visa, register their address within 3 days of arriving and give biometrics for a residence card. Students may work up to 20 hours a week.
