Long Term Residency
Stamp 4
People who have lived legally in Ireland for at least 60 months on employment permits issued by the Department of Enterprise can apply for Long Term Residency. If approved, they get a 5-year Stamp 4 permission to live and work without an employment permit. Critical Skills Employment Permit holders can separately get a 2-year Stamp 4 after two years, which can later count toward Long Term Residency.
