Tourist visa (Type B) via the MFA e-visa portal, including visa on arrival at international airports

Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs runs an e-visa portal where tourists apply online, verify their email and get a tracking code. Approved applicants collect the visa at the embassy or consulate they chose, or at an airport Visa on Arrival counter by showing a printed Grant Notice. Some nationalities are visa-exempt or can stay 15 days visa-free for tourism, and some cannot be issued visas for political reasons. Many governments advise against travel to Iran; check your own government's advice first.
