Student visa (S) and temporary residence for study

Foreign students can get a Student visa (type S), which the e-Visa portal lists with a validity of up to 90 calendar days. Under the Law on External Migration, a temporary residence permit can be issued to a foreigner who arrives for more than 6 months to study at an educational institution, on the institution's petition. Family members of student visa holders may be eligible for a Foreigner's Family visa (FF).
