Temporary residence as a digital nomad

Moldova offers a right of temporary residence for digital nomads who work remotely for a company registered outside Moldova or are partners in a foreign company. Applicants must show a high monthly income over the last six months. The permit is filed with the General Inspectorate for Migration.

Eligibility

    Either an associate (partner) of a foreign legal entity, or an employment or service contract with a legal entity registered outside Moldova plus a sworn statement of remote work.

  • Income

    Show a bank statement proving monthly employment income of at least 18 times Moldova's forecast average salary for the last 6 months.
