Tourist visa on arrival
The Maldives grants a tourist visa on arrival to foreign visitors. No pre-approval is needed, but you must meet the entry requirements at the border. Under the Immigration Act 2007, a tourist may stay up to 30 days without a fee, and the Controller may allow up to 90 days for a fee. Tourist visa extensions are filed online through the IMUGA portal.
