Visitor visa without permission to work (Visa de Visitante sin permiso para realizar actividades remuneradas) for tourism
Mexico lets citizens of a list of countries (including the USA, Canada, the UK, EU states, Japan, Korea, Australia, and many Latin American states) enter as visitors without a visa for up to 180 days. Anyone, whatever their nationality, is also exempt if they hold a valid US visa, or a valid permanent residence card from Canada, the USA, Japan, the UK or a Schengen country (other consular pages add valid visas from those countries). Everyone else must apply in person at a Mexican consulate for the visitor visa without permission to work, which costs USD 56 and requires proof of economic solvency or ties.
