Temporary Resident visa with permission to work

job offer

A Mexican employer registered with the National Migration Institute (INM) applies in Mexico for authorisation of a visa for a foreign worker. For jobs longer than 180 days the INM authorises a temporary resident visa with permission to work; the worker then attends a consular interview abroad. Temporary residence lasts up to four years and the work permit is tied to the occupation in the offer.
