Permanent Resident visa
Residente Permanente
Mexico's permanent resident visa is issued by Mexican consulates to retirees or pensioners with the required savings or pension income, and to certain family members of Mexicans or permanent residents. Under the Migration Law, permanent residence is also granted after four years as a temporary resident, and to parents of Mexican children. Spouses and partners first receive temporary residence and can switch after two years.
