Holiday / tourist visa and visa on arrival
e-Visa on Arrival
Foreign nationals from countries that are not visa-exempt need a holiday or tourist visa to visit Namibia. They can get one from a Namibian embassy, apply online in advance through the Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security (MHAISS) e-services portal, or get a visa on arrival at main entry points. Since 1 April 2025, nationals of 33 countries that used to be visa-exempt, including the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Japan and most of Western Europe, need a visa on arrival.
