Family immigration with a spouse, cohabitant or partner

Spouses, registered partners and cohabitants of Norwegian citizens or of foreign nationals living legally in Norway can apply for a family immigration permit. The person in Norway (the reference person) normally must meet an income requirement for both expected future income and last year's income, and must not have received financial social assistance in the past year. Both partners normally must be at least 24 years old.
