9(a) Temporary Visitor Visa for tourism/leisure (9(a-2)), including the Philippine e-Visa
Many nationalities can enter the Philippines without a visa for an initial 30 days (59 days for Brazil and Israel). Others need a 9(a) Temporary Visitor Visa, issued by Philippine embassies and consulates and increasingly through the official eVisaPH portal. The tourism/leisure sub-type, 9(a-2), covers holidays, religious visits, recreation and visits to family or friends. Indian and Chinese nationals have special 14-day visa-free arrangements with conditions.
