Russia unified e-visa

tourist, guest and business visits

Nationals of eligible countries can apply online for a single-entry Russian e-visa through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It covers guest and business visits, tourism, and taking part in scientific, cultural, social-political, economic and sporting events. Since 23 August 2025, an e-visa is valid for up to 120 days from issue and allows a stay of up to 30 days from entry. It is issued within 4 calendar days, with no invitation needed. Other purposes need a paper visa from a Russian mission. Many governments advise against all travel to Russia.

Eligibility

  • Eligible nationality

    You must be a national of a country on the MFA's e-visa country list.

  • Permitted purposes

    Guest or business visits, tourism, and participation in scientific, cultural, social-political, economic and sporting events. Other purposes, including transit if not selectable, need a paper visa from a Russian mission.

  • Entry points
