Saudi Arabia Hajj pilgrimage visa

Hajj visa

The Hajj visa lets Muslims from abroad enter Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj pilgrimage, and it is limited to the Hajj season. Places are set by country quotas. In countries with an official Hajj mission, that office selects pilgrims under its own national rules and handles registration and contracts. In listed Muslim-minority countries without such a mission, pilgrims book a package directly on the Nusuk Hajj platform under the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah's Direct Hajj Program, and the visa is included in the package.

Who it’s for

Muslims living outside Saudi Arabia who want to perform Hajj, applying either through their country's official Hajj office or, if their country is on the Nusuk Hajj serviced list, directly on Nusuk Hajj.

Eligibility

  • Purpose: Hajj only

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs describes the Hajj visa as given to Muslims who wish to perform Hajj, limited to the Hajj season. Tourist and Umrah visas do not allow Hajj.

  • Country quotas

    • Each country has a Hajj quota.
    • On Nusuk Hajj, quotas are set based on the number of Muslims (citizens and residents) in each country.
    • A package may show as unavailable once the country quota is full.
  • Apply through your country's official Hajj officeCountries with an official Hajj mission (e.g. Nigeria, Pakistan, Indonesia, India, Egypt, Turkey and others listed by the Ministry)

For countries with an official Hajj mission, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah says the national pilgrims' affairs office selects pilgrims under its own laws and procedures and completes registration and contracting. Selection rules, costs and waiting lists are set nationally.
