Rwanda's Directorate General of Immigration and Emigration (DGIE) issues employment permits in several classes. Most private-sector employees use class H2 (employer-sponsored skilled worker) or H1 (skilled worker in an occupation on the Occupation on Demand List). Applications are made online through Irembo with an employment contract, employer recommendation letter and police clearance.

Yellow fever certificate needed after a stay in countries with risk of yellow fever transmission (WHO list)
Travellers aged 1 year and over arriving from a yellow fever risk country need a valid yellow fever certificate.
