Temporary residence permit for digital nomads
Since 21 November 2025, non-EU/EEA nationals who work remotely for businesses based outside Slovenia can get a temporary residence permit. They do not need an Employment Service permit because they do not enter the Slovenian labour market. Monthly income must be at least twice the average monthly net salary. The permit lasts up to one year and cannot be extended.
