Permanent residence permit
Third-country nationals can apply for permanent residence after five years of continuous legal residence on temporary permits. They need a valid travel document, regular income and no security concerns, and since 2023 a Slovene language certificate at A2 level. Study time counts at half, and some temporary statuses do not count.
