Short-stay entry visa (from a Senegalese embassy or consulate) and visa-free visits
Some nationalities can visit Senegal without a visa; others need an entry visa, which only Senegal's embassies and consulates abroad issue. In an official statement on 16 April 2026, the Ministry of African Integration, Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad warned that 'Senevisa.com' was a fraudulent visa site. It said that, so far, the rules in force set no application fee. Senegal has announced visa reciprocity and online payment several times, so check the current position with a Senegalese mission before you travel.
