Uganda Tourist Visa (single entry) and East African Tourist Visa
Uganda's Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control (NCIC) grants a single-entry tourist visa for tourism, medical treatment, family visits and similar short trips, for up to 3 months. You apply online through the immigration portal, then give your biometrics at the immigration office or border. Nationals of countries with visa abolition agreements do not need a visa, and a joint East African Tourist Visa covers Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda.

Granted to travellers coming to Uganda for tourism, medical treatment, family visit and similar purposes.
Visa-exempt nationals
Nationals of countries with which Uganda has visa abolition agreements do not need a visa, including Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan, the DRC, Ghana, Ireland, Malaysia, Singapore, Mauritius, Zambia, Zimbabwe and others on the official list.
