Citizenship by naturalisation
Under Law No. 610 'On Citizenship' of 13 March 2020, a foreigner or stateless person can apply after at least five years of continuous residence counted from receipt of a residence permit. Applicants must formally renounce other citizenship, have a legal income and show sufficient Uzbek for everyday communication. The application is addressed to the President, and review should not exceed one year.
