The visa route
e-Tourist Visa (e-Visa) for tourism and visits, with the regular Tourist Visa from Indian missionsIndia's e-Tourist Visa is applied for online on the official Indian Visa Online portal. It comes in three versions: 30 days, 1 year and 5 years. It covers sightseeing, visiting friends and relatives, short yoga programmes, short informal courses and short unpaid volunteering. You print the approval (ETA) and the visa is stamped on arrival at an authorised airport or seaport.
