Entry visa (invitation by licensed company or institution) and residence visa
Afghanistan's MFA issues an Entry visa to people invited by companies or institutions licensed by the authorities, based on an official letter and with MFA approval through missions abroad. It is valid three months with a one-month stay and costs USD 100. People who stay longer on service, business, entry, student or crew visas can get a residence visa inside the country for one month to one year, at USD 50 per month. Business visas (USD 40 to 300, one month to three years) are also available on a valid business licence.

Eligibility
Licensed inviting organisation
The company or institution must hold an official licence from the relevant institutions of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and send an official letter.
Afghan spouses with foreign passports
Afghans holding foreign passports who are officially married to foreign nationals, with a valid marriage certificate, and who have not renounced Afghan citizenship, are eligible for an entry visa.
Residence visaResidence visa
Issued to foreign nationals continuing their stay on service, business, entry, student or crew visas.
