Investor Visa (PI) and NVR for large investors
The PI visa is for foreign capital investors running an investment, business or commercial organisation in Bangladesh. It needs a recommendation from BIDA or BEPZA confirming the applicant is a genuine investor. Separately, a 2012 Home Ministry circular says foreigners investing at least 5 million US dollars in heavy or long-term industry or business can get the 'No Visa Required' (NVR) facility. A separate B visa covers business visitors.
