No Visa Required (NVR) for foreign spouses, children and people of Bangladeshi origin

The NVR is a seal placed in a foreign passport that lets the holder travel to and stay in Bangladesh without a visa. A 2012 Home Ministry circular allows it for foreign citizens of Bangladeshi origin, their spouses and children, and for foreign spouses and children of Bangladeshi citizens. It is issued by the Department of Immigration and Passports and by Bangladesh missions abroad. It stays valid for as long as the passport is valid.
