eVisa (flying visa / visa volant) and airport visa

VAP

The Direction Générale de Migration (DGM) runs an eVisa that is requested and granted online. It lets the traveller present at any entry point of the DRC, where a 7-day single-entry airport visa (VAP) is stamped into the passport. There are three types: specific flying visa, ordinary flying visa and family-visit flying visa. Large parts of eastern DRC are affected by armed conflict, and several governments advise against all travel there.
